Connecting to TubeBear

Now that you have all the settings correctly, it's time to connect to the TubeBear server so you can start streaming your webcam feed.

Stream to Flash Media Server (checkmark it)

1. FMS URL - type rtmp://72.55.140.185:1935/livestreaming/FlashCom/
2. Backup URL - leave empty
3. Stream - put your TubeBear profile name - exactly as you created it. That means it is 'TyPe CaSe SeNsItIvE'
4. Save to File - if you want to record your livestream (meaning, you want to record what you are doing in front of your webcam), then checkmark this option and the file will be saved as a FLV file (here's a free FLV player). By default, these videos will be saved in Documents and Settings\You\My Documents\My Videos.

Flash Media Encoder

Now... click the big green START button.

A small window will appear asking for a username and password. Enter:

username: Your TubeBear username (CaSe SeNsItIvE)
password: Your TubeBear password (CaSe SeNsItIvE)

And that's it... you're done. If you did everything correctly, you should be able to see your webcam feed live from your webcam page:

http://www.tubebear.com/profiles/username/webcam/default.aspx

(change the username to your TubeBear profile name).

NOTE: you must email or use the contact form and tell us you are ready to stream since we have to turn you on... literally. Once we know you are ready to broadcast, we will turn on the switch to make your webcam go live and then we will also start to promote your webcam page. You're then good to go.

Contact us if you have any problems or issues.

Kind Regards & Hugz
