I've reached a point in my life that I'm content to walk alone. I have all that I need with me, and am not really looking for more, but am not opposed to it, either.
It's a very good place to be.
There's very little I have to frown about, and a whole lot to smile over. I'm stronger than I've ever been, more directed, clear on what's important, and satisfied with what I have. I've been blessed with so much, I'm full to the brim!
I am seeking friendship, possibly more if all the right elements are there. My value system is very old fashioned. I don't tend to be the "fuck 'em and forget 'em" type. I'm also very selective as to whom I spend my time with.
What I am is direct. Many people cannot handle my blunt nature. Be fairly warned that I will call them as I see them. It's pretty much destroyed any chance at a social life in Ottawa, but I make no apologies for being who I am.
I'd rather brutal truth than a gentle lie, even if it leaves my social roster empty.
At least I don't have to wonder about the company I keep. Those that haven't made assumptions and have gotten to know me understand that I'm a living teddy bear underneath it all.
The people I call friends I cherish. They are there when the chips are down, and I hope the same can be said of me. I value that loyalty above all in the people I interact with.
I'm a joker, a loner, a dirty little pocket bear at times, a prude at others, an intellect on paper and a rube in person. I can be soft and fuzzy at times, and harder than steel as well. I am true blue, when I say I love, it's deep and it's real, and best of all, it's absolute.
I love a great, deep kiss (and can provide lip services to rival the best of the best), a pretty (read pretty, not large) pecker, a well groomed face, a smoke free guy, a cuddler, a nuzzler, a great conversation, a lot of laughs, and a person that can provoke thought within my sphere.
I'm a complex man that loves simplicity. Lot of guys are into production. To bring it on home, I would prefer a fist full of daisies to a dozen long stemmed roses. If you can understand what propels that thought, then you will likely catch my interest.
